Loving and nurturing a child is so very human, it is our greatest connecting lesson. While our stories may differ and motherhood can feel so very lonely, as mothers we fortuitously share the transformation of our lives and our hearts forever.
The way a mother looks at her baby is the purest love and most powerful force I have ever witnessed. Yet as mothers we often lose sight of our own importance. We are constantly reminded of the brevity of our time with them, yet we allow that pinprick in time to slip by undocumented. Mama there is no pause button!
Breathe in the stillness as your baby nurses, feel the soft folds of their skin, the way they melt into your arms as you hold them. Breathe out the worry of self-imposed expectations, the overwhelm of responsibility and desire to be perfect. Allow me to capture the beauty of that inhalation now, before it passes and the memory fades. Trust me when I tell you that the beauty is not in how you look, but in how you feel when you allow yourself to be vulnerable and connect with your children. I can lose myself for hours looking through old shoe box photographs, vividly placing myself within the shrouded memories of my past. Those pallid images, proof that the cleft in my sons nose once belonged to his great grandfather, that my mom gazes through her mothers eyes as I do mine.
The intention behind my family sessions is to create a time capsule. An experience composed of elements that hold meaning and value for your family that will paint a vivid picture of your life together. Whether that involves cherished bath time rituals, exploring the mountains armed with bug spray, or simply warming each others hands around a fire, I want this time capsule to be a visual reminder that keeps you anchored in love and gratitude for years to come.

This 3-4 hour session is perfect for those who like a little more time to slow down and savor the moment without being rushed. Families with little ones prefer these sessions as they allow time for the little ones to warm up and get to know me, capturing some sweet moments at home, allowing snacks, and naps as needed, before heading out and about for an activity or adventure.

The Short Story
This 1 hour session is a brief storytelling session depicting your morning/evening, an activity, or outing as a family. These sessions are popular for seasonal family photo's, couples and creative portraits.

A Moment in Time Mini
This is a short 15-20 minute time slot that you can reserve when I hold mini sessions over the course of the year. I aim to capture a snapshot of a seasonal activity, or family tradition with the holidays, or seasons as my schedule permits. I try to make these fun and interactive for the little ones, so bookings are limited. I post any upcoming mini sessions on my Instagram account, so follow along to stay up to date and not miss out!

I encourage familiar environments over epic locations and try to integrate as many aspects of your story and culture that hold meaning and value for you. Being in a familiar space, doing the things that you love to do together can transform a stressful family photoshoot into a memorable, connecting experience, or adventure!

a stressful event that you dread, because those are the memories that will stay with you. It shouldn't be about the dress because fashion trends come and go. You shouldn't expect children to "sit still and behave" because children are happiest at play. There is no need for “look at the camera and smile”, or awkward posing; my goal is to show you the magic that already exists. The real, un-staged version of this one fleeting chapter of your story.

Yes Indeed! I will travel up to 30 mins around Salt Lake City free of charge. Anything further out, including other states/countries, I do charge a travel fee. Contact me for a personalized quote. If I am traveling abroad I will share where I’ll be on my instagram to keep my clients updated.

Life happens, plans change, I totally get it! I’m a mom too. All I ask is that you let me know at least 24 hours (ideally a week) in advance. While I cannot refund your deposit if you cancel, rescheduling is never a problem with advanced notice.
